DEVELOPMENT OF RESOURCE – SAVING TECHNOLOGIES OF FIBRE CROPS COMPLEX PROCESSING AND COMBINATION YARN PRODUCTION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF NEW MATERIALS AND TEXTILE GOODS MANUFACTURING FOR SPECIAL PURPOSE

OBJECTIVE

Under current conditions the need of development of new   resourse and energy – saving technologies has arisen and using of which will allow to solve problems connected with the scarcity of raw stock and energy supply and also will promote the reduction of production costs of new textile materials and goods.

TECHNICAL PROCEDURE FOR THE PROCESSING

Using of oil flax for making multicomponent yarn with different fiber content expects detailed study of their physical – mechanical characteristics which depend on the process.  Therefore during research it was analyzed the current process of open-end spinning and the influence of technology factors on initial suitability of future textile goods.

RESULTS

Within the project the methodology of fibers production with different geometric parameters has been developed which are suitable for creating combination yarn of new constructions the composition of which consistes of flax common and oil flax modified fibers and man – made fibres: fibre PA, fibre PVV, fibre PE.
On the ground of conducted theoretical research the aggregate of production equipment for the processing of treated plant fibres and scutching wastes with account of their initial physical and mechanical properties and final quality characteristics of modified fibres and also the aggregate of production equipment for combination yarn production were matched.
New scientifically grounded resource – saving  technology of flax complex processing with different percentage of man-made fiber placement has been developed which will allow to get a fibrous product with a broad spectrum of quality indicators and to define the fields of the use of modified flax fibers.

 COMPARISON WITH WORLD ANALOGS

Analysis of developed theoretical bases of modified flax obtainment by domestic and foreign scientists has revealed that all of them as opposed to suggested are based on the use of the mechanical modification theory with the use of cutting process of sliver formed on the drawing frames with  purified and mixed fiber layer for their further processing in cleaning machines and mixing with cotton, wool, man –made fibers and different impurities for special purpose.

ECONOMIC ATTRACTIVENESS

Upon condition of splitting into elementary fibers that is its previous modification, flock of oil flax composed with other fibers (cotton, wool, man –made fiber) one can use not only for the production of  unwoven textile, thermal insulation materials, geotextiles and agrotextile,  and in textile production. That is why oil flax fibers are worthy alternative to cotton which is imported to Ukraine to order of domestic producers of textile production.
Manufacturing of domestic cheap and besides annually renewable resources can become additional source of resources for the textile industry of Ukraine that in its turn will promote problem solving of import substitution.

SPHERE OF APPLICATION

Formed yarns and threads with different fibre composition can be used in future for making of new materials and textile goods for special purpose with nanotechnologies application.

RESULTS OF IMPLEMENTATION

Combination yarn technology on the basis of oil flax fiber was developed and the aggregate of equipment was recommended proven by public limited company “Boguslav Textile” (the act of implementation of research work results dated from November, 21, 2013 ).
